About the Venverloh Family Foundation

Jon Venverloh established the Venverloh Family Foundation in 2005. Driven by the belief that all good things come from the Lord, the Venverloh Family established an organization to share their blessings to change lives for the better, to help individuals, families and communities flourish. In keeping with their faith, the Venverloh Family supports organizations committed to helping the less fortunate and promoting principles that will make for stronger, more just societies. the Venverlohs hope to create a lasting impact and legacy through the foundation.

After growing up in Houston, Texas, Jon attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas before earning an MSc degree from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Jon joined Google during its infancy in 2000. Blessed by the financial gains that resulted from Google’s growth, the Venverloh family committed to supporting causes that are most likely to make the world a better place immediately and in the long run.

Since its formal establishment in 2005, The Venverloh Family Foundation has focused on supporting non-profit organizations with which Jon and Mehridith have developed long-term relationships, and which have shown sustained operational excellence in their ability to enrich and empower the lives of others.

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” - 2 Corinthians 9:7

“We think of our donations through our Foundation as part of our family’s tithe. The Venverloh Family knows that the blessings we have been given are from above. By sharing these blessings, we can serve others, glorify God and impact lives across the globe.”
